Hey everyone –
In case you didn’t know/remember, I participated in an event called VEDA, or Vlog Every Day in August. The mission was to get more bloggers to try out vlogging. What started as a “Oh What the Hell, I’ll try this out” exercise on August 1st became an awesome new community that was very exciting to be a part of. I enjoyed getting more comfortable being on camera and doing minor video editing during the month. It was sweet getting to know other bloggers from all over the world too! I was amazed at how quickly you felt like you knew someone from a vlog – you got an interesting peek into new personalities.
I loved participating, and loved ‘meeting’ all my fellow VEDA-ers! And, I think I’ll definitely imcorporate more vlogs into this here blog. Some things I found easier to get what I wanted to across in video form that I ever would be able to with words alone.
Below are 5 of my favorite videos from the month. If you’re interested in seeing more of them, click on the video tab above on the main page:
1. VEDA Day 1: Post bike ride in Shenandoah National Park – Where I learned to stop saying I CAN’T.
2. Day 4: My thoughts on Technology and Wellnesss
3. Day 14: Rambling in a parking lot with a childhood friend. We talk about such diverse things as Steve Irwin, super acid, and how tough it is to be smart and pretty.
4. Day 19: On the Road between West Virginia and Virginia
5. A day in my life….
What’s your favorite??
